It seems to me that the pressure relief has been replace and it is improperly installed. It should be installed with a street 90 going up, then the relief pointing out the side with a short nipple and a 90 pointing down. Shouldn't a boiler relief be installed vertically?@ June 10, 2008 4:20 PM in Bamboo flooring and radiant heat?
I've done a couple of jobs with the 5/8th bamboo without a problem. Also one laminate floor with bamboo. No problems, all work very well. But I did the engineering work and research before and new it would work. I would like to do radiant and bamboo in my own home.@ May 16, 2008 8:23 AM in Peerless -40 indirect water heater clogged up?
Maybe there is a coil cleaning procedure? Have you looked in the manual, the Peerless web site and then their tech. support?@ May 5, 2008 12:04 PM in Iron Man

You can paint them. They have one painted in NH at the factory. I think it's painted like the US flag.R2107
@ April 16, 2008 12:25 PM in Buderus 2107 vs Tekmar
I usually like to use the R2107 with a Buderus boiler. But, I suppose if your not doing constant circ. you could just go with the Tekmar. I like both controls.70's-80's kid

Do not put the ground wire to the flame probe. The ground only goes to the spark electrode..8
@ April 8, 2008 8:28 AM in Munchkin F09
If your flame rectification is .8, I'd look at your combustion levels. After you clean the heat exchanger with CLR, did you rinse with water? Check the burner. Is it clogged? Also if this has a Dungs gas valve, look at the swirl plate for signs of deterioration.CO

Good point. I would do the ODR anyway and 2% afue doesn't relate to much money. You could probably make that difference up by lowering the water temp a few more degrees.MC vs. M
@ March 27, 2008 1:37 PM in Munchkin Contender vs. Munchkin regular
Well, I like the new Munchkin Contender. One thing to note is that the MC does not have an ASME rating. It also does not come with the Vision 1(out door sensor and indirect hot water sensor). However, you can buy the Vision one and hook it up. What's nice about the Munchkin Contender are the new sizes. They come in the MC50, MC80, MC99 and MC120. The display board is mounted on the front of the unit for easy viewing. The cover comes off to expose 3 sides of the boiler as well. Whichever one you choose, just make sure it is installed per the installation manual, as with any boilerHelicopter
