I had the pleasure of attending a class ken taught on tuesday night. The content of the class was oil heating systems for home inspectors. Allow me to say WOW ! I attend many classes for continuing education credits for my home inspectors license , but this guy can surely teach. It lasted three hours but we all wanted it to go on all night , learning and asking questions... no one wanted to leave and it was near 9:00 pm. Thanks to him I certainly know I am now better prepared than ever to inspect and write reports for my home inspections. Thank You Ken Keep on doing what your doing .Student

She said its cold in here ....... I said lets snuggle........ She got out of bed and returned with an electric blanket. As she plugged in that wattage sucking device, She said and I quote " If you dont want to turn the boiler on , no problem , now you can go watch your electric meter spin at the speed of light" ! @ July 27, 2007 8:18 AM in wilson tech hydronic/ boiler class scheduled for fall
Mike , the hydronics and boiler installation course listed in the Fall catalog offered by Western Suffolk Boces, Wilson Tech. , is NOT my curriculum and is NOT being taught by me, therefore does NOT entitle you to any NORA credits. I am as confused as you are as to what purpose this course can serve. I saw and read the course content and it is much of what we did toward the end of the courses for Oil II as well Oil I . The nightime introduction to plumbing instructor, Joe, will be instructing this course. It may just be a pilot program , but not sure. I was not asked or consulted with in regards to it. For further information or "requests", it would be suggested to contact Boces directly @ 631-667-6000 ext.320 or ext. 470. You also know how to contact me if you wish . Sincerely, Ken Resnickknowing why...........

Off the Wall but seems to be of interest to fellow wallies. Photos from the old days at Islip Speedway (figure 8 division).Race team started in Freeport Speedway (bomber division) then on to Islip Speedway figure 8 division and steet stock division. Currently racing in Riverhead Raceway enduro division. For the interest of fellow wallies . Ken Resnick@ July 10, 2007 8:02 AM in 5 section beastie and 550 gal. oil tank in closet ( Ron Jr. )
Also notice the X3 and x91 of Fred Harbach fame on the left of doorway. Take a real good look and you will see the original Freeport Speedway signage. Look to the right of that and you see one of the first signs for Islip Speedway Figure 8 division in which I raced until the close of Islip Speedway .By the way this year is the 25th anniversary of Ernie Maynor's death which occured on a terrible Saturday night at Islip Speedway. I was driving the #03 figure 8 car ,two cars behind Ernie when he hit the wall in his fatal crash. Ken Resnickold beer
@ July 10, 2007 7:39 AM in Talk about dirty Jjobs!
As an apprentice for the families business it seemed it was always my calling to clean out the grease receptors and beer dispensors in the Red Lobster Restaurants. May not sound so bad until you felt the slime and got a real wiff of old rancid beer and grease . Dad would remind me that the white chunky grease and brown slimy beer by products were "GREEN" , as in money green $$$$$$. In the cab of the trucks was a sign he had placed in them .... it read "Keep America Green , Spend Money " Ken Resnick@ July 9, 2007 7:21 AM in Long Island Big Ugly - July 7th at Louie's
