Sorry dan, yesterday I poised a question , how to do a correct heat for hydronic heat ,as if I was a homeowner . The question was, the RIGHT way to do one . Either connected radiation or measure the house ,height of room ,windows and insulation.(This is for hot water not steam) I also check the input of the nozzle to see what is actually doing the job , And have found that the nozzle size is less then the load . My guess, is that the fudge factors  are way more then needed. Any help guys.

Highest eff.possible
Lowest water to heat .
Smallest boiler than will cover heat load.
Thats how to save the most.

have no problem to converting it to high eff. we did several this and past years . With reports of saving in one case of over $4500 a year.It was a summer/winter boiler.

ZVC404-EXP we installed 20 ,3 have failed.xx does not make to turn on the boiler. Is it a problem with HW V8043F1051 zone valves or all .

Is there a steam boiler maker , that either suggest or insist , the installation of a Hartford Loop. I know all direction call for one . I have a plumbing inspector that says it is NOT necessary. You input needed.

A few weeks ago , I inspected a Steam System , On my report I said that the Hartford Loop was missing . Today I was called by the Code Enforcer , and told that THE LOOP was NOT code . It was not necessary ,I asked him if felt ,that if the loop was not there, it would be a safe install . Also the the relief valve was horizontal , I SAID it should be installed vertical . Because that what the instruction say . Help me!!!

great ,first time I came accross ,this type of duct work on a steam system. Usually on a old hot air system.
