Is pvc venting going away ? are the manufactures going to rated cpvc if so will the local inspectors enforce local codes or do what the boiler maker askes ? I live in alaska and it would nice to have all the mod cons using one style of vent . any input would be greatETERNAL H20 MAKER

Any one using this zone valve?? Iam wondering about how they work in areas that have brown outs with the power ,flow rates , energy efficiency and can you really run 12 valves on one transformer ??radiant wave

We were talking about the wave and how it travels ,how far will the radiant wave travel?- will its energy decrease as it gets farther away from the the source??
- how fast will the wave travel??
- what occurs naturaly that will affect the wave as it travels

I HAVE AN ATMOSPHERIC BOILER STANDING PILOT CAST BOLIER IN A TIGHT CONSTRUCTION , i AM IN ALASKA AND TRYING TO FIND OUT HOW MUCH MAKE UP AIR I NEED , I KNOW THAT THERE HAS TO BE 2 OPENINGS 1 AT LEAST 12 FROM THE LID 1 AT LEAST 12 FROM THE FLOOR ,ALSO ONE PROBLEM IS SPACE THE BCI IS IS 9.5" HIGH 16" ON CENTERS SO SPACE IS LIMITED SO IAM THINKING THAT IT SHOULD BE RECTANGAULAR BUT UN SURE OF THE SIZE 6X12 8X12 ?????? THE AIR IS FROM THE OUTSIDE PULLING IT VERTICALY INTO THE MECHINAL ROOM FROM ABOVEcirc

IT Seems that there is no smoking gun on pump sizes ,the more people you talk to the sixteen differnt answers, you get the manfactures making recomendations on sizes for a reasons, flow rates ,delta t ect . It seems that in this case the comments were more about pumping away and placement of pressure tank ,which are very important but still not any intell on the matching of the large pumpsCIRCULATORS

Any one have any input on matching circulators on the modcons with primary secondary piping , most vendors say they should match is that the case and if so why???MOD CON
