CONSTANT CIRCULATION
@ June 15, 2009 4:29 PM in intellicon hw vs. Tekmar
Tekmar's mission statement includes "constant circulation" @ a reset water temperature that matches the heat loss. Tekmar does this better than anyone in the industry-ever heard of pid logic-look it up palKnight

I love the Knight, speaking of plain english-thats what you get when reading the display not some numeric code. Factory support is professional. Plus they keep coming out with new innovative products (Shield mod con water heater)Knight

Could also be the pex expanding when warming up if stapled to the sub floor-To remedy you could attach heat transfer plates, the pbv is also a good ideacontrols
@ May 8, 2009 4:47 PM in internet based control systems
Tekmar my friends-TN4 a modular control approach that can combine hot water heat and cooling-as well as internet access thru a web browser-relatively inexpensive when compared to home automation systems-TN4
@ March 27, 2009 5:36 PM in Remote Thermostats
Tekmar has TN4-The entire HVAC system communicates plus you can access thermostats monitor systems from a web browser-relief valve
@ March 25, 2009 11:55 AM in Leaking from Release Valve
If the boiler mate coil is leaking the pressure in the boilermate is greater than the pressure in the boiler so the relief valve on the boiler will open 1st-probably when it reaches 30 psi-You can also check your expansion tank.micro-bubbles

Entrained air in a hydronic system-Not so sure about the "manufacturing process diagnosis" Steveoxygen
@ March 4, 2009 4:24 PM in Expansion Tank failed - twice
Try a potable tank-take the charge down to fill pressure(12 psi) and it will hold up against the micro-bubbles carrying the O2Condensate Neutralizing
@ March 4, 2009 3:24 PM in Condensate Neutralizing
Is it imperative to install an in-line condensate neutralizer on condensing gas fired equipment ? Do all you mod-con installers make practice of this ? We always recommend one but I have seen (my own house) many installs w/o one Thanks Bill
