Sir:This would appear to be a misunderstanding. The bracket actually goes on from side to side, or left to right. These brackets are one size fits all. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to call us on our service hot-line 1-800-722-2101.

Sir:If you would please provide the model and serial number of this heater I will be happy to check our records to see where we can help you from here. There are multiple ways to correct such an issue in a timely manner. Is this a high altitude unit? How long are the vent and air intake runs?
