munchkin...p/s loop system
@ August 20, 2010 10:53 AM in munchkin...p/s loop system
i'm converting from an oil boiler to a gas boiler. it's one zone and they're going to be using the chimney as a conduit to get exhaust gasses out via plastic pipe. it will not be wall mounted and use an indirect water heater. my home uses radiator heating not baseboard. my question is if i should have a primary/secondary loop system. one contractor highly recommends it and says it's necessary...the other does not saying that the circulation will be caused by gravity.i'd also like to know if the following statement is true or false:
copper finned baseboard heater, small zones, and radiant heat would require a p/s piping arrangement.
help!!
