"This car protected by a pit bull with AIDS." Nice, huh? Although I can have a morose sense of humor. I thought this one was particularly sick. You know I love to help worthy causes - especially when it can be local folks. Mad Dog To Learn More About This Professional, Click Here to Visit Their Ad in "Find A Professional"I always assume the worst...hope for the best
@ April 27, 2005 8:13 AM in Like some opinions, please (Dan H.)
Just my cynical nature I guess. I believe that in assuming the worst, initially, I work out all scenarios and possibilities that may occur - thinking through all my thoughts and actions. Then, turn to the positive and think that through. After "laying" it all out in my head, I then make an informed and reality-based decision. Its got me this far in life. As I said in the previous post, I personally would get a big kick out of it, and would welcome any and all opinions on my work and way of doing business and others. However, I have seen enough powder-keg issues and very heated debates here between homeowners and contractors. I have seen quite a few instances where disgruntled hos "go after" some "Find a Professional" contractors, and vice-versa. I'm sure they were justifications on both sides and in many of the cases, I think I would side with the homeownwers. I think "clearing" the air at The Wall is one thing, but dedicating an area for it could become very contentious and nasty. If the area in question, were only to contain positive experiences and the like, then how "real" is it? I like things the way they are, but I am always willing to try new things. @ April 26, 2005 10:48 PM in Like some opinions, please (Dan H.)
Maybe its just me and my personality, but all that I do when I come on to the site is go to The Wall. Maybe it is a lEAD BALLOON - THAT Section. That being said....The customer-complaint (yeah, because that is what it would become) section would be about as entertaining as watching UFC fights!!!!!!! I.E., I love!!!!!! seeing people go at it...in many forums...however, I am often told that it is destructive, demoralizing and sick to watch people "destroy" each other....The Roman Coliseums???? As much as I would love to see that idea come to fruition, Dan, I am predicting, that it will become a blood-bathing donnybrook...the likes of which the Wall has not yet seen! I've got nothing to hide, so, whatever will be will be. Mad Dog To Learn More About This Professional, Click Here to Visit Their Ad in "Find A Professional"Don't do it Frank

You think you've got problems now? You did the right thing: notifying them in writing that the system has been neglected. DON'T compound the problem by trying work with a screwed up system. Why should you take responsibility for 35 years of neglect? Beeb there before, dude. Mad Dog To Learn More About This Professional, Click Here to Visit Their Ad in "Find A Professional"Hi Arlene

Our third Bambino will be a bout a week or two old at that time. I've got strict orders that I have to really help out with this one...you know diapers, feeders. I'll be lucky to catch it on Direct TV. However, the next time it swings around, we're going, we'll drag Dan along too. Thanks For the dream....... @ April 25, 2005 3:20 PM in Having trouble getting paychecks
with you - I've been there before - on both sides, and it is amazing how patient anyone will be when you look 'em in the eye and explain things. That being said, I think the boss is owed one last chance to pay up. Leave a message or show up unannounced and explain that you aren't looking to make trouble but that you've got bills to pay, and that you need to be paid IN CASH or With BANK Check, within 2 days or you are going to the labor dept. He'll pay you, no one needs problems with them. Good luck. Mad Dog To Learn More About This Professional, Click Here to Visit Their Ad in "Find A Professional"Your boss can email me or call, Glenn

No need to be nervous. Just tell the secretary that you would like an evaluation of your heating system and its performance, ask her what that will cost and what you will get for that. It is always a good idea to "trust, but verify" from time to time. If you don't you WILL eventually be taken fro granted, taken for a ride , and taken to the cleaners. Tim eto shop around, buddy, they've been taking you for granted for too long. Mad Dog To Learn More About This Professional, Click Here to Visit Their Ad in "Find A Professional"
