I also like to have a valve above each wet return drop (under the water line) so I can POWER FLUSH the entire return under street pressure. Of course, I feel bad that the man has passed. God bless him. However, I wonder where he came from, when he was "created" and what his background was...I don't watch much tv, but it seems that he BURST on to the scene just a few years ago and was this "expert" we are all supposed to know and trust. I hope someone does a bio on him....was he supposed to be a Bob Vila of sorts??? Terrible....there were a father and TWO SONS!!!!! I like to cuss and swear when I feel like it too...around the guys, o make a point with a knucklehead who "listens" better when you talk to him in his language, but NEVER around women, children or the general public (The Wall included)...not that I haven't slipped occassionally. The problem is that these days it has taken hold like a cancer ...on tv, movies, and of course in our troubled youth and adults too. Bottom line...you can get ticked at dan all u want, but it is HIS living room here and the rules of the house should be respected. Last, where else are u gonna find a place....a truly unique one of a kind place like this on the web???? You won't. ...its more special than u realize gentlemen. Sat July 25th from 10:30am-430pm,in Franklin Square, we are holding our Nassau Board of Plumbing Examiners Picnic. This is an annual event with a close to 80 year history. This year, we are featuring a Great American Old-Fashioned Picnic for the whole family including...ponies for the kids, face painting, a jumping castle, and traditional games like three-legged races and the like. For the adults, you can enjoy German Beer and picnic grub in the Beer Garten whilst our two piece live band cranks out your requests (Tommy + his partner can play anything!) For businesses, we are offering corporate sponsorships of events and prizes, and quite a few will be setting up tables to display their wares. Tickets are $50 for 21 and up; $30 for teenagers and kids under 12 are free!!! So far, John NY is our first wallie to buy a ticket, Dan + TLM have a prior commitment, but are corporate sponsors. Thank you guys!!!!! I am hoping Ron Jr, Robert O'Brien, Rick kelly, Johnny White, and the guys from last year can make it....we"ll have a great time. For those of you not familiar...this is an open event and all are welcome to come mingle, network, eat, drink, kavetch, party, snooze in the shade or get crazy dancing to the band. Great door prizes + raffles too. I've got tickets...look foward to seeing you. That comes to the big uglies??? (Hey!!!! Who's gonna throw the next ny one? John ny and I each did one. I know two fine gents right here at the wall looking for work...if conn, what town? Recession-proof.....nobody is!!!!!...staying busy, yes!!!...sitting home?? No. I meet with lots of contractors and industry people on a regular basis....And not one (we"ll some always bulls--t) has not made major cutbacks and serious adjiustments with their workforce and operations...union and non-union.
