Plumbing Service Manager

Handle day-to-day supervision with sales, billing and estimating of plumbing jobs ●Directly manage field technicians (plumbing industry). This includes but is not limited to include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. ●Sales, estimating, job supervision, design/build plumbing & hyrdonic systems ●Actively seek out commercial and residential business opportunities. ●Train and monitor staff to ensure superior customer service is delivered ●Stay abreast of industry technological developments and convey this knowledge to team members ●Develop, track and report key performance measurements. ●Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency ●Coordinate team member activities to ensure individual and team goals are consistently achieved; ensure team members are working up to the highest standards in all aspects of their positions; conduct regular meetings with team members to review company policy and procedures, performance, quality and safety statistics ●Interface effectively with other departments ●Enforce use of personal protective equipment (PPE); monitor safety performance of employees; take corrective action as appropriate ●Ensure employees provide superior customer service and conduct post-service call audits on a routine basis ●Provide customer service support, as necessary and respond to customer inquiries and problems in a timely manner ●Promote and support the Company brand Requirements: ●Minimum of ten (10) years management experience and/or assignments that demonstrate leadership ability and proven experience in business development ●Must possess strong technical skills as well as proven customer service skills. ●Must have a valid drivers license and meet the company’s motor vehicle policy. ●Ability & willingness to work a flexible schedule as necessary to meet customer requirements ●Understanding of operational concepts including planning, scheduling, and logistics ●Knowledge of how to manage a budget in order to facilitate operational success ●Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communications skills ●Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and are committed to a drug and alcohol free workplace.
