Uponor Launches Industry-first PEX to CPVC Adapter Fittings for Commercial Piping Systems

Uponor North America (Uponor) is launching an industry-first innovation with six new ProPEX® Lead-free (LF) Brass CPVC Adapter Fittings for transitioning from CPVC to PEX in commercial plumbing and hydronic distribution piping systems. The fittings, which are available in 1¼", 1½" and 2" sizes, are offered in a spigot and a socket adapter and all feature Uponor's durable, reliable ASTM F1960 ProPEX expansion system for connecting to PEX piping." Merril Hoge is an NFL analyst for ESPN and contributor to many top shows, including NFL Live, NFL Matchup, NFL PrimeTime, SportsCenter and NFL Countdown. IAPMO Joins Plumbing Industry Coalition in Support of Energy Efficiency Legislation

The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO®) joined a large coalition of plumbing and mechanical industry organizations in supporting H.R. 4801, a bill that would call for the Department of Energy to report on the impact and savings potential of improved thermal insulation systems in federal buildings. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) and Jerry McNerney (D-Calif.), H.R. 4801 provides a clear mechanism for the federal government, the single largest consumer of energy in the country, to conserve resources and cut spending in working toward a viable energy strategy for the future.
