Grundfos Announces Sales Release of Commercial, Industrial Pumps with Integrated MLE Variable Speed Motor Wide range of models, reduced power consumption provide competitive benefits for high-perform

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. — Grundfos’ LFE frame-mounted end-suction pump and VLSE vertical in-line split coupled pump are now available for sale in the United States. Ideally suited for new commercial HVAC/R applications and retrofits, the fully integrated, intelligent LFE and VLSE pumping systems feature the MLE variable speed motor in ranges from 3 to 30 horsepower (HP) in 3,600 revolutions per minute (RPM) and 3 to 25 HP in 1,800 RPM. Speed control pumps like the LFE and VLSE offer energy savings of up to 50 percent. Introduced at the 2014 AHR Expo, the LFE and VLSE offer a systems approach, which, through intelligent technology, adapt precisely to current demand to deliver performance, energy efficiency and reliability. Uponor Introduces Two New EP Multiport Tees for Commercial PEX Plumbing Applications

Uponor North America (Uponor) recently launched two new, engineered polymer (EP) multiport tees to meet the increasing demand in commercial plumbing systems using crosslinked polyethylene (PEX) pipe.The new, high-flow branch and flow-through EP multiport tees are targeted for commercial installations where supply lines are required to be upsized due to pressure or code requirements. One multiport does the same job as three separate tees, reducing the amount of connections by 45%.
