OESP’s New Show Format Gets Personal

OESP’s first Road Show took place at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut from May 12-13, 2014 and offered attendees and exhibitors a new and more personal take on the traditional conference and trade show format. “This new, condensed two-day format takes into account the value of attendee and exhibitor time and was designed to give them the greatest return on their investment,” said Judy Garber, OESP Executive Director. “For years, we have watched floor traffic of many conventions and trade shows on the decline. What we’ve learned is that our typical attendee does not want to spend more than one night away from home and work for an event. They would prefer to travel no more than 100 miles. And many owners do not want to send their technicians into a city to attend an event.” Garber also noted that technology is changing the way we learn and network. “Attendees are ... Read More
