NAOHSM Tackles the Topic of Basic ElectricitySubscribe to RSS feed

NAOHSM’s (National Association of Oilheating Service Managers) mission is education and they strive to deliver high-quality, relevant materials and classes each year. Upwards of 40% of their operating budget is spent on education. Each year, NAOHSM chooses a topical subject and hires an expert to take classes on the road. This year, they will focus on Basic Electricity with well-known industry expert, Carol Fey.

Carol Fey is a degreed, technical trainer who has worked in the controls industry for over 25 years. She has also written several books – Quick & Basic Electricity, Quick & Basic Hydronic Controls, and Quick and Basic Troubleshooting. Visit www.carolfey.com to learn more about Carol.

NAOHSM is responsive to the educational needs of its members. When members requested more information about electricity, this year’s course topic was born. Attendees will learn the basics of electricity and gain more confidence to use test equipment properly, read and understand wiring diagrams, and troubleshoot both heating and air-conditioning systems.

Classes will be held on April 19 in Baltimore, MD; April 20 at Stevens Technical College in Lancaster PA; April 22 in Pennsauken, NJ; July 26 in Concord, NH; July 27 in Auburn, MA; and July 28 in Cromwell, CT.  To register for any of these classes, visit www.naohsm.org or contact 888-552-0900.

It is not a requirement to be a NAOHSM member to attend any of their classes or their Annual Convention and Trade Show (taking place May 22-26, 2011 in Hershey, PA), but NAOHSM does welcome you to join. So what are you waiting for?  See what NAOHSM has to offer and test drive it by joining them for a class.
