ACCA, the nation’s largest association of indoor environmental systems professionals, has published its latest ComforTool for ACCA members to help educate customers. The newest addition to this series of fliers, “The Wrong Insulation Can Cost You Money” explains why customers should have a professional contractor evaluate the insulation in their home and offer them options for upgrades.
ComforTools are provided to ACCA members at no cost and cover a variety of topics related to HVACR businesses including design, installation, business practices, and incentives.
"Many contractors have moved to the whole home approach when it comes to helping their customers meet their comfort needs," said Paul T. Stalknecht, ACCA president & CEO. "Homeowners may not think that HVAC contractors are the people to call when they are having comfort issues that do not involve their heating and cooling equipment. This ComforTool will help customers understand that a professional contractor can be a one-stop resource for helping them determine what options are available to improve their comfort and save money on energy bills."
ACCA members can download the new ComforTool, and any of the other ComforTools in the library, for free at www.acca.org/comfortools
The ACCA is a non-profit association serving more than 60,000 professionals and 4,000 businesses in the HVACR community, who work together to promote professional contracting, energy efficiency, and healthy, comfortable indoor environments for all Americans. For more information, visit www.acca.org.
