We perform all services and installations of most plumbing heating cooling and hearth products. Commercial and residential. MELROY has been in business since 1969. We were formally a new building contractor. Vapor, to high pressure steam. Air ducts, sheetmetal, water boilers, furnace and air conditioners. Humidification, air cleaning, purifying. Process piping. Challenge

Boiler in basement that flooded frequently. Steam, oil.
Boilers need to operate off the electric grid.

Approach

Measured system and building modifying capacity to a more accurate size.. Engineered new boiler system and gas pipe system.

Solution

Built raised steel platform above old boiler location to hold new boilers. Installed a modular millivolt gas-boiler system consisting of 3 boilers a new condensate receiver pump and new gas pipe.

Installed system. Shortly after the boiler room flooded, but since our install was above the pit; our boilers stayed in service, hi and dry. It should also be noted that the church has enjoyed many trouble free lower costing heating years. Even with a power outage the boilers run quietly and efficiently.
