Challenge

Most of our clients find us because they are not finding the quality support and advice they are seeking elsewhere. We work primarily with 3 types of clients who each face their own challenges when working with modern hydronic heating systems:

Bid managers (Architects, General Contractors, etc): How can you find out what features your system should have, get several bidding contractors on the same page, and know what you are getting before the system is finished?

HVAC Professionals: How do you get the information you need to set yourself apart from the pack? How can you install more comfortable, more efficient, and more economical systems faster and with less callbacks?

DIY Installers: Physically installing PEX is basically carpentry, but how do you make sure the dozens of critical details that can mean the difference between success and failure are taken care of? How can you be sure you're going to get the comfort and efficiency you want?

Approach

At NRT, we approach all projects with a multiple step process.

With Bid Managers and DIY clients, we do a free "Initial Consultation" where design service pricing and material range estimates are used to figure out a likely path forward that meets everyone's needs.

For HVAC pros, we can do budget estimates rapidly to prove system concepts before getting too deep into system designs. Working together, we can get much tighter numbers together earlier in the process!

Solution

Once everyone can see the likely path forward, NRT follows a one or two step design process.

For simple projects, we do all of the necessary heat load calculations and final bid specifications or design in one step: if there aren't that many questions to answer, or potential issues to avoid, we can keep it fast and easy!

For more comprehensive or complex projects, we break the project into a Preliminary and a Final phase. In Preliminary phases, we do everything necessary to answer all the major questions that would greatly affect system direction or pricing, with the goal being to get on firm footing before finishing a complete system design.

Once all the surprises are over, the final design drawings can be generated with confidence, and NRT will be ready to support you and your project as long as you need us to!
