Challenge

Customer wanted to remove his underground oil tank and switch to natural gas (which was in the home already).

Approach

After completing a detailed heat loss for the building, we recommended a Triangle Tube modulating/condensing boiler. We also recommended an indirect water heater for potable hot water, but the direct-fired unit was less than a year old.

Solution

The customer had the tank removed. We removed the old boiler and installed the new with all new valves and safeties. We also installed a chimney liner for the existing water heater. We than filled and tested the system(checked with a combustion analyser). The system is quiet, heats great and I look forward to a large fuel savings for the customer.
