The 520 Series AngleMix™ thermostatic mixing valve delivers accurately tempered domestic hot water from an industry exclusive angle-style body. The valve mounts on top of water heaters and minimizes the use of elbow fittings, to reduce cost and save installation time and space. AngleMix features tight close-off inlets to increase accuracy performance and eliminate temperature creep.
“The industry reaction and social media comments have been very positive. Already we are getting requests to expand the line with additional sizes and connection types,” states Kevin Freidt, director of product management and technical support.
The valve is ICC-ES certified to ASSE 1017, CSA and NSF 372 (low lead laws). It meets the requirements of IPC, IRC, UPC and NPC for use in accordance with the U.S. and Canadian plumbing codes. AngleMix is available for ¾” pipe sizes in press or sweat union connection styles with temperature gauge or body-only for the flexibility of separately ordered end connections.
