On Oct. 1, Grundfos officially opened a new office in Lenexa, Kan. This facility replaces Grundfos’ office in Olathe.
In keeping with Grundfos’ focus on sustainability, the new office features a number efficient features, including LED lighting, a Grundfos Engineered System (GES) pump house to maintain water level in an on-site pond and provide supplemental heat to the lobby via geothermal loop. Additionally, the energy efficient HVAC system is powered by Grundfos’ Hydro MPC and MAGNA3, with hot water recirculation provided by ALPHA2. Employees can enjoy the facility’s open office environment with a café area and a game room to cultivate innovation and creativity.
The building, which also features a lecture hall with seating for 100 people, a training area for hands-on pump education classes and a training video production studio, has been in the works since breaking ground in 2016.
“We are thrilled to be moved into our new home in Lenexa and look forward to continuing our commitment to the Kansas City area,” said Jonathan Hamp-Adams, president of Grundfos USA.
The new address is as follows:
Grundfos Pumps Corporation
9300 Loiret Boulevard

Grundfos celebrated the opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony on October 10, which was attended by the Mayor of Lenexa Michael Boehm, Lenexa Ward 2 Councilman Bill Nicks, and many representatives from the City of Lenexa and the Lenexa Chamber of Commerce. Grundfos leadership was also in attendance, with Group Executive Vice President Poul Due Jensen, grandson of Grundfos’ founder.
