The new Caleffi 6000 Series LEGIOMIX® electronic mixing valve controls domestic hot water temperature in commercial distribution and recirculation systems. Available in 1” to 2” sizes with NPT or sweat union connections, the valve has the industry’s highest rated flow capacity and automatically self-cleans to prevent binding caused by scale formation. The valve’s full-function controller/user interface has data logging, alarming, temperature indication and industry-unique schedule-driven thermal disinfection programs for protection against Legionella bacteria growth.
Each model number comes complete with valve, actuator, mixed and return sensors, mixed temperature gauge and controller for a complete ready-to-install package. Standard onboard Modbus communication and an optional Modbus-to-BACnet gateway allow the controller to easily communicate to building automation systems.
LEGIOMIX is a 2018 AHR Expo Innovation Awards finalist and will be on display at the exhibition in Chicago (McCormick Place), Jan. 22 – Jan. 24 at Booth 1000 in the North Hall.
